Georgetown residents have great job opportunities with Williamson County Government offices, the City of Georgetown, the Georgetown Independent School District, Southwestern University, and St. David's Georgetown Hospital.

    Williamson County is home to major cities like Austin, Georgetown, Lexington, and Round Rock. Interstate 35, as well as 3 State Highways, provide convenient transportation by car to numerous nearby destinations. Public transit operates an inter-urban bus route between Georgetown and Austin that runs Monday through Friday two times each day.
