Parks Pflugerville

The Pflugerville area has a lot to offer, but one of its best assets has to be its parks system. The City of Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department does a lovely job of maintaining and updating the city's parks. This weekend, we recommend taking a break from looking at Pflugerville homes for sale and visiting one of these local parks.

  • Central Park at Falcon Pointe: 18720 Falcon Pointe Blvd., Pflugerville, TX 78660
    Central Park at Falcon Pointe
is one of the larger parks in Pflugerville. With more than 13 acres of nicely landscaped greenspace, it offers a 9-hole disc golf course and a baseball diamond. The disc golf course is appropriate for players at all levels. Most holes are par 3 or 4.

You can also access the Falcon Pointe Trail from this park. The trail stretches around the park and is open to walkers, runners, and bikers. There are several water fountains you can stop by along the way, along with charcoal grills, picnic tables, and gazebos.

  • Bohls Park: 200 Immanuel Rd., Pflugerville, TX 78660
Bohl's Park is a lovely park for families. It has a playground area with some unique equipment. Adults can enjoy the outdoor exercise stations along the 0.25-mile loop trail. If you want to go a little further, walk along the Gilleland Creek Trail, which begins at the park.

Bohl's Park is also home to soccer fields and volleyball courts. It's a great place to practice your goal shots or play a pickup game on the weekends.

  • Pfluger Park: 515 City Park Rd., Pflugerville, TX 78660
Pfluger Park is a 7-acre park with a lot of entertainment packed into its grounds. There are two gazebos on-site, perfect for hosting casual birthday parties and other gatherings. The colorful, modern playscape is perfect for kids, and the 0.34-mile loop trail is popular with joggers. Pluger Park hosts several yearly musical events, including Music in the Park.

  • Royal Pointe Park: 18712 Candace Loop, Pflugerville, TX 78660
If you like basketball, then Royal Pointe Park is the place for you. The basketball courts here are simply lovely, and many kids and adults in the area enjoy them. There's also a playground with three slides for the kids to enjoy.

Royal Pointe Park may not be the biggest park, but it feels spacious because there is so much grassy, green area. You could plop a blanket down and enjoy a picnic, toss a ball around, or just lie in the grass and look at the clouds.

  • Moose Park: 1218 Settlers Valley Dr., Pflugerville, TX 78660
    Moose Park
is a 1-acre neighborhood park worth visiting this autumn. The playground at this park is under a shelter, so kids can play safely even during rainy weather. There's also a basketball court with non-slip footing. Another great thing about the park is its volleyball courts, which are always filled with local players.

If you're still looking for the perfect Pflugerville house to call home, we'd love to help. Contact us soon, and one of our real estate agents can guide you through the home-buying process.
