Cedar Park Pools

Temperatures are slowly rising, and summer is just around the bend. If you've been busy looking at Round Rock homes for sale and Cedar Park homes for sale, we encourage you to take a break and plan a trip to a local pool in the coming weeks. The Cedar Park area has some lovely public pools and splash parks, and a few of them open as early as May 1st. Here are some of the top spots to take a dip this summer.

  • Brushy Creek Splash Pad: 3300 Bushy Creek Rd., Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Brushy Creek Splash Pad
is a great alternative to a pool for young kids and even for adults who don't love swimming. This splash pad is open daily from 9 am - 8 pm beginning on May 1st, 2023. There are lots of colorful water features, including spray poles, shower heads, and water jets.

The water at Brushy Creek Splash Pad is gently warmed, so you won't be shocked when you get sprayed in the face. There are restrooms and changing rooms on-site. Children of all ages are welcome, but they must be supervised. Admission is always free!

  • Buttercup Creek Pool: 411 Twin Oaks Trail, Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Buttercup Creek Pool
opens for the season on May 27, 2023. The facility is open from 1 pm to 8 pm Monday - Saturday and 1 pm - 6 pm on Sundays. This is definitely one of the more entertaining pool facilities in Cedar Park. It has a separate lap swimming area, a small slide, and a diving board.

Admission to the Buttercup Creek Pool is $3 for adults ages 18 and older. Students ages 9 - 17 pay $2, and children ages 4 to 8 pay $1. Lifeguards will be on-site to enforce rules and ensure swimmers' safety.

  • Elizabeth Milburn Pool: 1901 Sunday Chase Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613
If you have younger children, the Elizabeth Milburn Pool is a great one to take them to. There is a separate water playground area for kids. It has small slides, water spouts, and shower heads. This pool also has a 120-foot slide that is popular with older kids, plus a lap-swimming area for serious swimmers. The pool deck is also spacious and comfortable, with plenty of lounge chairs.

This pool opens on May 27th and is open Monday - Saturday from 1 to 8 pm and Sunday from 1 to 6 pm. Lap swimming, only, is available Monday - Friday from 6 am - 9 pm. There is a small admission fee for all.

  • Veterans Memorial Pool: 2525 W. New Hope Dr., Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Veterans Memorial Pool
is an 8,500-square-foot aquatic facility. The pool itself has a zero-depth entry and progresses in depth along its length. There is a large diving platform at the deep end and also a drop slide, which is great fun. The playscape area has a dumping bucket, which elementary-age kids tend to love.

Veterans Memorial pool opens on May 27th. It's open Monday - Saturday from 12 pm - 7 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. There is a $5 admission fee for adults. Children ages 4 to 8 are $2, and children ages 9 to 17 are $4.
